Why I do what I do:
As a mom who has struggled with infertility, I know what a gift these sweet babies are and I have such an appreciation for them. I know what a miracle it is to be able to bring a baby into this world and I want to capture every single detail of that moment for other families because those first few sleep deprived weeks are such a blur. I LOVE babies and toddlers and to get to be around them everyday for my job...I mean there is truly nothing better! I love the giggles and the playfulness of letting the kids be kids. I love taking the stress out of picture day because I am a mom and I have been on the other side of the lens. PICTURE DAY IS STRESSFUL! I love coming into your homes and letting the bigger kids show me all the spots where they love to play. I love capturing them when they don't even realize I am taking their photos. I love when they start off super shy and end the day by giving me hugs! These are the moments that I as a mom want to look back on and remember.
Why Newborn Photography?
I have always had a passion for photography but once my kids were born I found myself taking pictures of their every move just trying to make time stand still. I blinked and now my older two are 9 and 7 and I can barely remember those newborn days. I am so grateful I have so many photos to look back on. I just recently gave birth to my third born and already she is my most photographed baby knowing that she is my last!
